cyberformance

A word i made up in 2000 to describe my experiments at the
interface of theatre and the internet. it is a form of
networked performance that specifically uses the internet to
bring remote performers together, for online or proximal (on
site) audiences. characteristics of cyberformance include a
low-tech DIY aesthetic and a willingness to experiment and
take risks with technologies.
