Bortch-off

v. to deliver a discursive monolog over the telephone. Derivation:
yiddish, from the verb "vortch" meaning "to complain". This
neologism is unique and created by me, based on many
telephone conversations of a whiny nature between myself and a
certain unmarried relative.
